Introduction
The Graduate School of Digital Culture and Content aims to cultivate a ‘core expert in digital cultural contents’ with professional insight into humanities and digital civilization. To this end, we have set up several educational directions as follows: First, we foster professional researchers leading cultural contents theory/discourse based on humanities knowledge and perspective. Second, we cultivate practitioners who have theoretical and practical knowledge by strengthening planning and production capabilities. Third, we foster local and field experts who are familiar with the current status and policies of domestic and international cultural industries. Fourth, we cultivate practical talents through internationalization education and field research, while reinforcing the educational capacity in the fields of culture, arts and culture contents.
Academic Goals
We aim to cultivate ‘core experts in digital cultural contents’ who are familiar with the field or subject of humanities. In order to cultivate talent specialized in cultural content theory, cultural content development, and the cultural content industry and its policies, as well as in research and education related to cultural content, we help students to develop their capabilities as experts in global cultural content through exploration and research of the domestic and international cultural industries while delivering both theoretical and practical education.
