Introduction
The emergence of new information technology is an important keyword that dominates the 21st century, and the development and application of new technologies using computers and communications have become the most important tasks. Especially, with the development of integrated IT convergence technology such as IOT (Internet of Things), modern society is changing the way of life and work by exchanging information with both individuals and organizations. Accordingly, The Division of Information and Telecommunications aims to train flexible information and software experts who can play a leading role in open society by overcoming temporal and spatial limitations by interconnecting them through information and communication networks such as the internet in addition to pure information communication theory and application technology education. In order to achieve these goals, various laboratories and internet business centers on campus are becoming the basis of creativity that can realize the dream of information communication specialists.
Specialization
The Division of Information and Telecommunications operates research labs for visual information processing, database, artificial intelligence, digital signal processing, e-Commerce, multimedia, programming systems, digital systems, Internet, information media, and telecommunication systems. More than 50 percent of our students participate in the research association where seniors guide their juniors in a correct, sound direction by offering mentoring and students learn how to use and apply various technologies through seminars and presentations. Furthermore, we are carrying out numerous projects in collaboration with industries and research institutes, allowing students to identify which principles can be applied in work and gain practical experiences. In addition, we host an annual graduate exhibition though which our students can apply knowledge of their major to reality and present their achievements.
