Established in 1999 under the approval of the Ministry of Education, our aim is to contribute to national development by fostering education experts through teaching new academic theories and methodologies of education to keep in pace with rapid advancements in the academic world.
Hanshin University runs Education Masters Programs during the evening for in-service teachers in eight majors including Korean Education, History Education, Ethics Education, Math Education, Physical Education, Computer Education, Education Administration, Education Counseling.

Academic Goals

History Education Major

In order to nurture talented people who will become the pivotal leaders in the Korean education system by cultivating the teaching theories and methods for history that can implement the educational ideology based on the educational philosophy of our school, Christian spirit and education law, and actively cope with the internationalization and information age, the following goals are set:

• Cultivate rational humanity through cultivation of the Christian spirit and teaching ability according to the ideology of our school.
• Cultivate theories and teaching methods to be a professional history teacher.
• Cultivate leadership ability to actively cope with internationalization and information age.

Physical Education Major

The purpose of the physical education major is to cultivate excellent physical education leaders who can play a pivotal role of wholistic education by combining practical skill and rational and scientific physical education theory. The goal is to nurture upright physical education instructors who can play a pivotal role in the education of the whole person by exploring the philosophical values ​​and roles of physical education and learning the basis of leisure and sports activities essential to modern life, and emphasizing sportsmanship, compliance spirit, and healthy competition to cultivate desirable sociality.

Education Administration Major

In order to nurture talented people who will become the pivotal leaders in the Korean education system by cultivating the teaching theories and methods that can implement the educational ideology based on the educational philosophy of our school, Christian spirit and education law, and actively cope with the internationalization and information age, the following goals are set:

We foster competent counselors who can intervene in various psychological problems based on a wide range of knowledge and practical skills that aid in the ability to comprehend the minds of people.

Korean Education Major

This degree program aims to train specialists who can study and learn the theories and methods for teaching Korean as a foreign language and contribute to Korean language education.
