"The image of three people with open arms" illustrates everyone at Hanshin University with an open mindset accepting of all possibilities and the conjoined silhouettes of the three people are in fact a simplified cube, representing transparency, structural soundness, and progressive future planning. The symbol mark is an official emblem which instills the internal and external impressions of Hanshin University, therefore requiring particular care when being replicated..
When using a negative color version, the color scheme outlined below must be used and its replication must, as a rule, be from data stored on a CD or a photoengraving. The Hebrew word for 'Immanuel' under Hanshin University means 'God with us' (Isaiah 7:14, 8:8, Matthew 1:23). When reading, read from right to left.

Regulations for Using Color
The colors representing Hanshin University are mainly Violet and Black, which symbolize the meaning of suffering.
Pantone 2597 CVC and Pantone Black are used as the main colors, and while the expressions are based on spot colors, they can be expressed in four primary colors according to the characteristics of the application media. Relationship with Background Color
When using a symbol mark, colors need to be selected. White, Black, Hanshin Violet can be used as background colors.
When using single colors, follow the application guidelines for single prints below. The basic policy is that the symbol mark to be conveyed must always be clearly expressed in any background color. Therefore, the color, brightness, and chroma shown below should be followed exactly.
Designated Font
The fonts have been designated with excellent formability and readability in harmony with the image of Hanshin University.
The simple yet sophisticated fonts listed below are used for displays, documents, and prints. Designated Korean fonts are Junggodic (85%), Taegodic (80%) jungmyeongjeong (85%) and English fonts are Helvetica Regular, Times Regular, good for use in long sentences, addresses, advertisements, and Helvitica Bold for use in headlines, subtitles, and areas to emphasize.
